Why Me?
22 Years In eCommerce optimising websites.
Most eCommerce and SEO Agencies or consultants simply do SEO for their clients. I am different. I am and owner/operator of eCommerce brands, meaning I am optimising eCommerce every day. This gives me the advantage of knowing exactly what works and what doesn’t, being an active practitioner within eCommerce.
There’s nothing better that I love than getting into the weeds of eCommerce platforms like Shopify. Optimising product pages, collection pages and getting into the technical SEO fixes is something I love.
I take SEO in eCommerce seriously. It’s not just about ranking pages, but ranking the right pages for the right keywords and topics. I do this by first auditing the website, taking a look at technical details and then coming up with an overall SEO strategy to get the results you want.
An eCommerce Audit is a fantastic investment and the foundation of your online store. Optimising products & collections and creating an SEO strategy is fundamental to a winning Shopify store.

What You’ll Not Get
eCommerce Audit: Step By Step
My eCommerce audits are not simply a list of things that are wrong with your site. You will get a full diagnosis of what’s wrong with your site, what can be improved, added or removed, and most importantly, a prioritised roadmap of what to do next.
You can do this yourself, give this to your team, or I can implement the recommendations depending on what they are.
Step 1: Define Objectives
- Set realistic goals for the site, where the site currently sits and it’s potential over the short, medium and long term
- Understand what the site should be ranking for, and get an overview of where the site currently sits
- Define measurable objectives. Examples: Content creation, content strategy, increasing traffic to collection/product pages
Step 2: Technical Audit
- Look at technical details including indexing and crawling.
- Check supplemental files including robots.txt and sitemap.
- Core Web Vitals & Page Speed checks.
- Other sitewide technical checks including canonicals, pagination, duplicate content.
- Schema/Structured data for templates.
Step 3: On-Page
- Visually check the CRO possibilities for the homepage, product page and collection page.
- Title tag, H1, H2 checks.
- On page copy is good.
- Structure of pages
- CTR & Trust evaluation
Step 4: Site Architecture & Hierarchy
- Check the main header menu/navigation

- “Low hanging fruit” opportunities
